Sculpted Figure

A standing female nude set against a pale grey ground. The figure runs the full height of the canvas, head turned away, weight shifted onto one leg. The palette is restricted to warm flesh tones and soft greys, with the dark hair as the one firm note. I kept the edges soft and let the body dissolve into the background. The light is even, the modelling worked wet into wet. No hard detail, just the form held in halftones.
