Iris
Privacy Policy
Effective 11 July 2026
Iris is designed so that your data stays yours. This policy explains what little information the app touches and what never leaves your device.
Your photographs
Photos you open in Iris are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, stored on our servers or shared with anyone. Camera and photo-library access is used solely to let you pick an image to sample colours from.
What we collect
Nothing. Iris has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app keeps a small amount of data locally on your device only (such as your remaining free colour matches). Deleting the app deletes this data.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your name, payment details or billing information. Apple provides us only anonymous, aggregated sales reporting. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Children
Iris does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, and is suitable for general audiences.
